Prof. Karim Benyekhlef, holder of the Alexandre Koyré Chair of Excellence

 

Cyberjustice Laboratory’s director, Karim Benyekhlef, is now the holder of the Alexandre Koyré Chair of Excellence for the year 2019 – 2020, a multidisciplinary chair, located at the University Côte d'Azur, in the field of artificial intelligence and law. Starting November 18th, Professor Benyekhlef will deliver an inaugural lecture entitled "A Short History of the Internet: The Regulation of (by) Technological Artifacts" and will host a series of seminars in 2019 and 2020 on the subjects of online dispute resolution, the use of artificial intelligence in law (predictive justice, algorithmic governance) and platform regulation.
