What to Know Before you Go to the 2025 ACT Conference
Thank you for registering for the Annual ACT (Autonomy through Cyberjustice Technologies) Conference 2025! The event takes place October 15-16 at the Cyberjustice Laboratory, located in room B-2215 at Université de Montréal.
If you need assistance at any time, conference staff will be available to answer your questions. You can spot them by their white T-shirts bearing the Laboratory logo.

Getting from your hotel to the conference
Enter through the main entrance: 3200 rue Jean Brillant, Montréal, QC H3T 1N8.
by car OR TAXI
If you're staying at the SENS Hotel, the University is about a 20-minute ride away. Ask the driver to drop you off at 3200, rue Jean-Brillant.
By public transit
Although the university is well served by public transportation, it is advisable to plan your trip in advance. The most reliable way is through Google Maps.
- Metro: On the blue line, get off at the Université-de-Montréal station and take the Édicule Louis-Collin exit. Once you're outside, turn right and follow Louis-Collin Avenue until you get to the main entrance.
- Bus: The main bus routes near the University of Montreal are routes 51 Édouard-Montpetit, 119 Rockland, and 129 Côte-Sainte-Catherine.
What do i Do once I'm at the main entrance?
The Cyberjustice Laboratory is in room B-2215, on the second floor of the Jean-Brillant Building (the one you'll enter through).
Don't worry about getting lost! Signs will be put up to guide you, and conference staff will be waiting for you at the main entrance to direct you to the right place.
Getting your conference badge
From 8:30 a.m., the Lab's helpful conference staff will be stationed at the Laboratory's entrance to give you your badges.
We encourage you to stop by early to enjoy the coffee, tea, and pastries available at the entrance.

Signs will be put up to help you get from the Cyberjustice Laboratory to Salon François-Chevrette (room A-3464), where meals will be served and the cocktail reception will take place.

Getting your certificate of Continuing Legal Education
If you need a certificate of Continuing Legal Education for the Barreau du Québec or the Chambre des notaires du Québec, you will need to confirm your attendance for each half-day of the conference.
At the Cyberjustice Lab's entrance, three (3) different QR codes will be put on the morning of October 15, on the afternoon of October 15, and on the morning of October 16. These QR codes lead to a form you'll need to fill and send.
The number of recognized training hours will be adjusted based on the slots for which you have confirmed your attendance. Université de Montréal's Continuing Legal Education will issue your certificate within two weeks following the conference.
